Girls JV Volleyball

Boys JV Hockey

The HAFTR Hawks JV hockey team started the season with a tough 1-0 loss on opening night in North Shore. The team rebounded in impressive form to get a spot in the playoffs. The Hawks are a team that have so much heart having come from behind in victories against Hanc, Magen David and Flatbush.

Boys Varsity Hockey

The HAFTR Hawks Varsity hockey team came into the season as defending champions and are doing everything they can to repeat. The Hawks finished the regular season in first place with an impressive 11-1-1-1 record. They were able to have lopsided wins against Rambam twice, Hanc twice, North Shore twice, Flatbush twice, Magen David, and SSLI.

Boys Middle School Hockey

For the first time in 3 years, the middle school Hockey team has made it back to the playoffs – where they belong. The team, led by Captain Zachary Perl, and assistant captain’s Ben Schreiber and Jonathan Safaniav, has come together over the year to become one of the top teams in the league. The

The HAFTR Varsity Lady Hawks finished the regular season with a 7-5 record. The team’s record was not what was anticipated at the start of the season as the team was mostly unchanged from the squad that went 12-2 last year. On the positive side, three of the team’s loses were by a combined 9

8th Grade Boys Basketball

The 8th grade basketball team, after completing its regular season with a tough win against YCQ, is undefeated with a 10-0 record. 7th Grade Boys Basketball

As our 7th Grade Basketball team heads into the season’s final stretch, things are looking bright.  Although there aren’t too many teams in this league, MDY and Flatbush have proven to be extremely tough.  HAFTR believes its constant pressing, switching defenses and tremendous guard play will overcome any challenge brought by their opponents’ larger size. 

6th Grade Boys basketball
